Size Guide
All SHANSHAN RUAN garment are made based on French Stockman standard. We had simplified our sizing by attributing XS, S, M, L, unless otherwise stated.
Our customers are invited to refer to the below chart to choose their sizes:

We had provided the length of each garment in their according description. But if you had a doubt about a particular part, you can send us an email and we will measure it for you.

Shipping and Return
All ready-to-ship orders will be prepared and shipped within 3 business day.
Otherwise, for Made-to-order article, please refer to the production leadtime stated at the end of the description.
Please note that we place all online pre-order articles on priority on our atelier schedule. It is unlikely you will have to wait too long!
We offer three different shipping methodes:
-French Post 'Colissimo', less costly, takes around 14 business day for the shipping.
-Express delivery DHL/ Fedex/TNT/UPS, quicker but more expensive.
-If you are happened to be in Paris, you can come collect the order in our atelier with an appointment.
Once the parcel is dispatched, you will be provided with a tracking number.
If you are purchasing from outside EU, you are subjected tothe duties and taxes on the garments. The amount varies country to country and is calculate based on the full value (garments’ cost and shipping fee) of your order.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back within 7 calendar days counting from the day of reception. The product must be unworn, with its original tags and packaging.
For all returns: Please in the first place send an email to [email protected] we will provide you guidelines regarding how to return. The return cost is on your charge.
Once the product received, we will inspect the condition of the garment and proceed the refund within 3 business days. No shipping fee will be refunded. As previously stated, the returning shipping fee will be deduced from the refund somme.
Fail to respect our return guidelines, or the returned good is damaged / marked / stained, or any claims exceeding 7 days, we will not be able to proceed any refund.
To avoid unnecessary return-refund trouble, we are happy to provide you with maximum information of the garment you are interested in : measurements, fabric hand-touch, fitting, the garment care… just drop us an email!
For all Made-to-order item, sadly it will not be refundable nor exchangable. Therefore, please take your time when press the Pay button. In doubt, drop us an mail, we are happy to provide more information!
All our garments are hand made in our atelier in Paris. Every garment has been minutely manufactured and has went through a thorough quality control before dispatched. We are happy to share our experience in how to clean and care those clothing. However, some fabrics such as silk organza, one of the most common material in our collection, remain delicate and fragile. However perfectly sewn, it requires an extra attention while wearing and cleaning. We will not be able to provide any solution or refund on damaged article if it has been roughly worn or wrongly cleaned.
Garment Care
We recommend you to always follow the guide on the washing tag on the clothing. Here’s some tips:
1- All garments with pleats: Our pleats are generally made in natural fabrics such as silk, cotton, linen, wool... Unfortunately, it is not permanent like on synthetic fabrics. Please do not put them in a washing machine, it will undo the pleats and it will not be possible to recover. Always confide the pleated item to a professional dry cleaner.
2- Hand painted garments: the paint has been fixed. We suggest hand wash with a mild detergent. Machine wash or dry clean is not recommended.
3- Always separate the dark colors and the light colors while putting clothing into the washing machine, if possible, use a specific detergent so that the colors can be better preserved.
4- All our clothing cannot be tumble dry nor bleached.
5- Please choose the right temperature to iron the clothing, if you are not sure, iron on the wrong side of the clothing or put a small square of fabric to avoid direct touch.
